Anyone going from non tidal Thames to inland waterway association Watford festival?

The IWA festival is being held at cassiobury park Watford from 19th to 21st July. I'm taking my boat from Harleyford from 15th aiming to get there on 18th.

Anyone else going?

Well I'll be there but not by boat 'cos I'm the Ents Technical Manager for the festival (and have been since my canal boating pre-sailing days)

So if anybody from the fora is at Cassiobury over the weekend I'll be lurking around the Theatre or the outdoor Spotlight Stage (or propping up the bar!)

Well I'm not going there after all. Well not by boat. 50 yards out of Harleyford in the Temple lock queue Loch inkop loses control. After a tow back to Harleyford and a lift voila no propeller! So if anyone happens to be diving by the starboard downstream mooring stage and finds a 14 inch bronze propeller, it's mine. And yes, I'll probably be going by metropolitan line. All I can say its lucky the weathers been rubbish this week or I would have been really cross at missing my holiday
