A small boat enthusiast looking at one of these old craft on line will doubtless ask themselves what they want it for and try to discount the glamour of it having appeared on a film set, which I suppose is expected to inflate the hammer price.
Questions crossing my mind include:
Was a boat built for short-term use on a movie set built as well as one delivered to a real world customer; and,
how usable is a boat that's lived in a shed for however-many years?
Only one way to find out I guess - if tempted, go see before you buy.
(Hmm...is a day return to Chatham feasible from the IoW...)
