Believe it or not you will need a Firearms Certificate to own it while in British Waters. That is if any of the guns are still there and capable of being put in working order.
 
The Duke of Argyle is still allowed a private miliatry ISTR due to some obscure piece of unrevolked law.

I wonder if he could be persuaded to take an interest.

The country needs every penny it can get - scrap steel value will do nicely thank you ! No time for misplaced nostalgia that would eventually become a burden on others - whether public or private purse.

Proceeds for scrapping this one are, regrettably, small beer. £4.5M to you and I is a vast sum, its under the radar for most government departments...
 
Moor it out side the Houses of Parliament. The MP's can sleep on it would save a fortune in expences fiddles and travel costs.

No way !!! Accomodation would be far too good for them and it would spoil the view :D

Mind you, they could always make miscreants 'walk the flight deck' as opposed to the plank - or maybe a plank at the lift off end?
