I'm preparing a little paddling boat that I built, ply, for painting - it's coated with epoxy and sanded down, but inevitably I've sanded through the epoxy in a couple of patches. I was sold some Penetrol (marine) for another purpose, but they say it can be used as as sealer/primer on wood before painting, and painted without further sanding.
Anyone have any experience of the stuff? And does it do what it says on the tin?
Regards,
Tim.
