Sitting in the Summer Isles at the moment with just about 4G (probably more like 1.5G) and wondering who else is round about?

Not yet, but have a fortnight off starting next weekend, crossing my fingers the weather holds. Rough plan is to head north, lochinver direction or thereabouts, and finish up in Stornoway in time for the music/sailing festival

Heb Celt is on our list in the next year or two having just left there this morning and seen the preparations.

We will try not to use up all the good weather in the next two weeks. Mind you, we’ve used more than our fair share getting out to St Kilda during the week.

We’ll wave as we go past in a few days.

Good sailing

Just ahead of you - left Kinlochverbie for Stromness yesterday and on to Kirkwall to visit friends tomorrow. If you come to Kirkwall, PM me - I'll be there for a week or so.
What fantastic weather we've had! (I'd just like a little more wind, though)

I'm a bit concerned about the light winds... how have the sea breezes been? Worth sticking close inshore and going to midday departures?

Not had much luck with sea breezes. I stay close inshore for the visual interest, but I've had to motor 60-70% of the time in the last 2 weeks. Part of the problem is it's a morning start for the North going tide at present. It's a magic coast though.
