Pity you weren't offering yesterday, after I'd spent a hot afternoon in the cockpit locker draining the fuel tank. On the other hand, I wouldn't have seen your post until I got home, so that would have been even worse!

found ourselves in the Blackwater yesterday evening. I was ashore for a meeting at the sailing club whilst Mrs Marmalade went to the crate to find some Jupiler to chill and drink with dinner. Alas the cupboard was bare.

When I repaired back aboard, she scolded me roundly for having drunk all the beer (that's what happens when you go to pirate weekend with your mates). She then said - " the only stuff I can find is this Duvel rubbish - there was a six pack at the back of the locker"
