Back in 1972 I bought a double ended 15 footer off Macwester and fitted a deck and cabin on it.Itwas identical bow and stern as made from one half mound. When I sold it after a years coastal sailing it had a rudder and skeg fitted and small bilge keels. It was a blue gel coat finish.Any body seen some thing like that last seen in Littlehampton, thanks.

You sure it wasn't a Hillyard?

It was a one off by Macwester two halves bolted together with a hollow fin keel that in normal circumstances carried three slabs of lead,I added more ballast and sealed off the hollow keel and added a small skeg to protect the rudder. It was my take on an ocean girdling 15footer but I chickened out and only managed a trip to Falmouth and back.I have some faded photos but lack the ability to put them up
