Anybody on a mooring at Pin Mill?

Have you ever moored over night at Pin Mill? The noise and wash when a frieghter passes is horrible. Presumably the deep water moorings are on the channel side.

We are on the second trot and draw 5'7" (1.7m). Yes there is some noise from freighters but worst is the disco boat. Fortunately it only makes irregular sorties late at night. Having said that there is far, far less than there is in a marina what with halyards tapping, fenders rubbing, drunks returning etc. The wash is minimal.
Worst situation is a strong NWly over a flood tide. Can get up to half a metre of swell then.
I have to say, some of the most pleasant and peaceful nights I've spent on the boat have been on our own mooring. We came back from a jaunt to Helford, arrived in the evening and stayed on the boat. We both said it was by far the nicest night of the trip!

Edit, no connection, just satisfied with our choice
