I would be most grateful if you could spare the time to PM me; I have a few questions not really pertinent to the open forum.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
I am not on a mooring at Pin Mill but have been thinking about it as a cheaper option - who manages the moorings? I asked at Levington and the cost there was more than I am paying for a pontoon berth at Brightlingsea!

I asked at Harry Kings ( www.kingsboatyard.co.uk ) last year and was told there was a waiting list for deep water moorings , don't know if its still the same tho ....
Then would need to find a suitable dinghy etc.

I have an 8' dinghy looking for a new home.
Dinghy is £16 pa kept on the common; organised by the Parish Council. Link on their website.
Dinghies free at Kings if mooring with them
Ah but I'm not.....
OP is though
Thanks to those who replied, very helpfully, to my request and subsequent questions.
The setup at Kings seems to meet all my requirements - friendly and efficient, flexible, considerate, mooring available, storage, dinghy park and somewhere to dump the van! All at a very fair price.
Looking forward to May and the summer(!)
keep us posted, we can wave to you![]()
Had an email from Sarah at Kings to say there is a deep water mooring available.
Costs for afloat / ashore at Pin Mill are about the same as I am paying at Brightlingsea so there is no financial benefit. Decision time once I know the detail of the mooring's location.
Change of scenery would be nice but I also like the security to know that the Brightlinsea Harbour Master and team are keeping an eye on the boat when I am not around.
