Anybody know of a good sprayhood fitter!?

I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that my teak Vertue is going to need a sprayhood.

Anybody recommend a sympathetic sprayhood fitter who will be able to appreciate the finer points of this little boat!!?

Price is not too important but the end result is!

Jim Welland at Suffolk Sails in Woodbridge has a fine understanding of boats of this vintage and is extremely careful in making spray hoods for them that work well and are aesthetically pleasing. As a serious sailmaker, rather than a cover maker, however, he may be grumpy about it. Suggest put into Woodbridge on your way South and apply personal charm. His loft is round the corner from the marina.

tell him what you want He makes it ....simple

you will not find better

When you get to Plymouth check out Slik Cut above the cafe at the Yacht Haven. They've done some excellent work for me at the right price.
