It's a very scary way of getting a boat through, most dramatically demonstrated when I watched a professional skipper moving the first T60 through. Wiggle left, wiggle right, aim, and fire. They got it right by about 18inches. Getting it wrong would have been very expensive.

As I have already stated I have never not been able to get under the bridge in my flybridge F33. At HWS my boat to the top of the steeming light is about 1ft higher than the centre arch.

I know what you mean - sat and watched a fly bridge try and go under the arch this afternoon. It don't have a steaming light no more!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
