Anybody got any experience of GJW Insurance?

I was with GJW for 4 years and had two claims, one for theft when all my electronics were taken and the other for some damage when my gear box got stuck in forward. Both were paid very promptly and with no hassle. And with the electronics they paid out at replacement value not at purchase value which was very comforting. In both cases of course I had to pay the excess.

I was not with them in 2010 as Edward Williams offered me full comprehensive to single hand the Atlantic.

I will seek a quote from GJW for 2011 and will go with them if they are competitive with other quotes.

I am with someone else, but was hit by a boat insured by GJW. All sorted very quickly at no cost to me. I would consider moving, if my premium wasn't in Euro, which is good value ATM.

I've not had to make a claim, yet, & have been with them for 3 years. Everything has been handled swiftly & easily. Just cancelled one policy mid-term & a cheque arrived 2 days later. Happy so far.
