My teak grating on my cockpit floor has seen better days and is in need of replacing.
Cant afford to do it this year....so......saw Acacia decking in Ikea today and could do the whole cockpit for £34 !!!
Its got plastic interlocking on the base which will keep it above the worst of any standing water.
It looks easy to cut..... and quick to install

Any views please?
Thx

I had them in my cockpit for about 2 months, they slip or even lift up when you lean over the side. They are also slippery in them selves. I just found them to dangerous and the are now at my local recycling yard.
However I then tried this stuff:

They also do a cross member support.
Fantastic stuff very sure under foot, but a bugger to screw into, dont use countersunk wood screws, pan head self tappers are OK if you drill to the correct size.
