Any Starfisher 760 owners around?

In anticipation of selling my boat at the Easter Boat show here in Empuriabrava I have been looking at the smaller Starfisher range. It seems to meet my requirements for a easier single handed fishing boat yet big enough to cope with me and my friends when we want to get down to some serious tuna fishing.

Would welcome any feed back from anyone with experience of Starfishers.

Well I guess there a very few Starfishers sold in the UK then.

I looked up Starfishers and the 760 would certainly sell well if it was imported into the UK. Certainly with inboard diesels and with the price of red diesel dropping below 50p a litre I wont buy an outboard powered boat no matter how cheap it is.

Unfortunately we do not have red diesel here in Spain. However I am definitely opting for diesel and would prefer inboard twin engines but need a boat that I can use single handed and may have to settle for a Starfisher /Merryfisher/Rodman or similar as long as it has a bow thruster.

Two engines will be fine for single handed in my experience.

I do it all the time in a Ocqueteau 975.
