Perhaps we are in the wrong Marina!! ( St Elmo) there seems to be lots of activity over at the other marina ( del SOl?) but not much happening here.
Any social activity in Cagliari??

Yes Jim,
We did a recce before booking in here at St Elmo. We found the staff more helpfull and the security and facillities better.
del Sol had limited facillities, rabid dogs and rotten planking!!..............but it does seem to have people and a social scene!!

I spent ten days in del Sole last July and enjoyed it, making friends. As you say the facilities are very basic and the pontoon boards not all attached.
Plus you have to step over the sleeping dogs who seemed harmless to me but not everybody!!
Cheap and cheerful for a visit sums it up! Wouldn't nec be my first choice for wintering afloat, altho that's mainly to do with the fouling and quite long fetch to any southerly winter gales.
