How many people even remember the volcano just two years ago on La Palma in the Canary Islands?
Good for a bit of fearporn about a tsunami, but mostly forgotten by us already (with apologies to anyone living there).

Yes, but most of what you see on the map is of a very low intensity. A slight jolt of the floor/ground may be felt but not enough to rattle the windows or crockery. The Azores area only shows tremors above 2.0 as that is generally the threshold for possibly being felt. Far more micro tremors are recorded.
There have been a number of tremors around 2.0 on the west side of Terceira over the last few weeks, with activity above the normal level, but we felt nothing here on the east side.
