Morning, don't suppose anyone is out on the water around the Solent (ideally hamble area) this Saturday morning?

Really need to get some photos of the rib running and this could be difficult as I am on my own!

I might be around, have got some stuff to do but hope to be on the boat for an hour or two at some point.

I'm **** with a camera mind!

Howard, I could sort something out. Even if it was just to come aboard then you drop me off and I'll shoot from a position of advantage.

Just had a thought - I could take pix with BB as camera platform. That will sort all issues! Thoughts guys? I am due to meet up with Renegade Master at some point on Saturday, but sure can sort something.

Sounds like a mass photoshoot! better do my hair before i go out!!!

Will wait for BB to reply here and see what he is up to and if its possible!

I know i need to be out of the house by about 10.00 ish on Saturday but need to be back in Hamble by about 14.30. Earlier the better would work for me to give me plenty of time to clean and polish the boat when i get back!

Great idea, BB = Bramble Bank, perfect place to drop David off..... should get some great hull shots.
 
Hopefull we wont end up with any broken or beached boats....

I need to run the boss to Romsey railway station at some point, then I think I'm free for boating shenanagins all day.

Wil check with the boss tonight and report back.

Copy that - one of you can pick me up from HM pontoon at Warsash which will save me driving all the way round to Port Hamble.

I can bring both still and video cameras - could have a selection.
 
Right, I'll be dropping the boss off at 8.30, back in Hamble about 9 ish, have to meet a chum to sort out my bike, should be down at the boat from about half ten ish for the rest of the day.

Solitaire - no worries can pick you up on Warsash HM pontoon.

It is looking a bit lumpy but light may be OK. Talking about running off Netley anyway so should be OK. Not as if we are just fair weather boaters! Just need to hold the camera still!

Give me a ring when you are about to get on the boat. Takes me about 8 mins to get to Warsash.

Will be down on the boat for about 10.00 and have a few things i need to do first. David, if we call you as we leave our berths it should work out about right. can always stooge at the bottom of the river

agreed, as long as its not too bad, little run up southampton water should be fine! will make sure my Musto's are at the ready!!!

Hope the pix live up to the hype. I reckon David O Selznick produced Gone with the Wind with hardly any more to-ing and fro-ing. :D:D
 
Pah! Just a little bit of wind and rain! Wasn't too bad at all to be honest although we stayed in Southampton water! Got wetter from the rain coming up the river than anything else!

Dare say western Solent isn't nice right now!

Thank you David and Ben! Wen she is sold and the new boat is on hand will repay the favour, hopefully in better summer weather!

Any chance of uploading the vid here to share? always nice to see boats in the local area :D Wish the weather would cheer up though, not having a great June:(
