Any news from Preston?

In a funny way I will miss these threads or have they finished? Pleased the boat is launched.

Don't worry it ain't over yet she hasn't got the boat (if she still owns it) back nicely secure in Brighton yet . There is still more blagging to be done .

Here is a photo from yesterday's launch. A 300T crane was used, with big pads under the outriggers (the other boat also launched yesterday was larger than Elizmor hence the larger crane).

Our congratulations go to all involved. We are now signing off from any discussion of this subject and we wish the owners of both vessels fair winds and smooth seas for their onward voyages.

One last point - there has been some speculation as to whether we may have imposed any sort of "cease and desist" order or agreement on anyone's communications or postings. This has never been even remotely the case. We have not had any involvement with anyone's right to post information or opinions via any outlet.

Once again - our best wishes go to the owners of the newly re-launched vessels.

This is just the start! I have been engrossed by the story, albeit vicariously. A wonderful adventure.

Did the pumps have to run for long if at all once in the water? Does the engine start and turn the prop? Is she sinking into mud each tide? Is there a boat warming party? What's the plan for the first shake down trip?

If Timothy Spall can get a TV series for his boaty misadventures, then this one can.

Likewise. At least a video diary on her blog, she's a good writer so with some pictures she could reignite the interest.
