So a post is headed "Any news from Preston", and we are all supposed to know what its about. I too wondered what it was about, and had not read any of the thread referred to.

Why is it all of a sudden of interest today? And why so cryptic?

Not sure why it is of interest today rather than any other day of the week. The cryptic bit (if that's the right word) is probably because the last thread got a bit heated for various reasons, and (I'm guessing here) the op of this one may feel the need to tread on eggshells carefully so as not to be accused of posting something inflammatory.

Exactly, last thing I wanted was for the lads from IPC coming round and duffing me up for mentioning either of the E words. No reason why today but I'd been wondering and sure enough the thread elicited the news that 24 hours ago E*****r is still there and looking a bit sad. Still hoping all goes well but also suspect that E***e is having to sit tight and just wait until the ducks are all in a row. Still don't understand why the blog is untouched.

This is a valid question. It is always good to have feedback on topics raised in the forum. Lots of people contributed to the initial threads and probably even more just followed them. I'm sure that everyone would like to hear about a happy ending to the situation.
