After missing the usually brilliant pirate weekend due to work commitments, are there any more floaty events happening.

Also. I am off for two weeks from next Saturday and heading for Wells so if any forumites are about at Ipswich, Lowestoft or Wells come and say hello.

They've all been booked for when I'm working so far, it's a conspiracy, see :D

Hoping to change work soon, then I'll confuse everyone by arranging one for a Tuesday as that's going to be my day off, how about a meeting at Ramsholt, anyone ?

Pete, please feel free to throw out a meeting suggestion, I am sure that those going north will be pleased to have a gathering!

Well I am just finding my feet on the East Coast so to speak;) and have yet to really meet anyone but as said will be looking at the Deben this weekend and subject as allways to the weather will be going to Southwold for the August Bank Holiday weekend and thats as good as my plans get! But it would be great if any other forumites had similar plans then we could meet up, you never know I might even buy them a pint of Adnams best.:D

I think there's a calendar on here somewhere, but I've never seen it. I think there might be a couple of things on there - such as the MOB practice and the Laying Down supper.

I'm in the Crouch and would be happy to meet up in the Blackwater, Bradwell, Brightlingsea areas. I've done enough Wallet bashing this season already!

Lisa, specsavers for you :D
Top of the ECF is a sticky to said calender and judging by the PM's asking for the password, quite a few already use it, password is BIRCHWOOD to save time ;)

hmm , yes well, I didn't say WHY I hadn't seen it.... perhaps the password is more than helpful! :) Thanks for that. Just never got around to asking for it before. Just looked at it now and there's not much in it. Can anyone add events?

Yes indeed, it's open as soon as you stick in the password, full detail on that post
Tried to get a YBW one but that didn't work, also tried other ideas but nothing else quite did the job. Someone else also looked into it but couldn't come up with anything else so we're a bit stuck with it unless another idea comes forward

Head up the Blackwater towards Maldon and it is on the left just opposite Osea Island. Marconi Sailing Club - loads of moorings and very friendly folk.

It's also about yodelling distance from me at Stone. :D

One a side note, due to a boat mishap and a friends wedding, I missed the Pirate Weekend so will be keeping my peepers open for any social schenanegans going on :)

Thought about holding a 'Launcheon Meet' for when I finally get chucked back in but that could be pushing it :D
