Any knowledge / history?

Hi,

Currently looking at a 26 foot harbour / river launch, approx 60 years old. She's called Janchris, round bilges, carvel planked and open. She's been out of the water 20 years or so near Henley. Might be a good restoration project but want to find a little more history if possible.

If you have a photo you could put up it might help.
I have a number of friends in the Thames Traditional Boat Rally (TTBR) in the Henley area who might be able to help.
Sounds a long time to be out of the water. Do keep half an eye on the realistic costs of restoration vs cost of buying similar in good condition.

No problem if all DIY, but some have been known to forget to take off the "rose tinted glasses" before plunging in!
