Hi there,any advice anyone out there can offer would be most appreciated!
I'm a qualified motor mechanic by trade,have obtained my yacht-master Ocean and have completed the (MCA)Approved Engine Course(5day), and am currenty studying Electronic Engineering.
I am looking to find work in the marine leisure industry as a mechanic or fitter/ technician etc.I would like to get as much experience as possible throughout the superyacht or boat-building sectors and learn as much as possible from inception to completion. My plan was to do this and then perhaps get ajob aboard as an engineer and work my way up to Y1 level or whichever suites the size of vessel i am working on at the time.
I am 28, have left my last job and have spent 2 months travelling all over the south coast looking for work and sending out CV's to every company i can get an address for.
Any help please or advice on recruitment agencies out there(really hard to find) or where i should look or approach!
