Any folk about this w/e

Nearly ready to go

Jessie is reasonably spic and span, antifouled and ready to go - except that my carelessness when raising her mast meant that both outer shroud fork ends got bent. Managed to buy a couple of replacements only to discover that they should have been left hand threads rather than right. The suppliers can let me have a couple of left handers in (wait for it) June! So I have reordered StaLock replacements through Andy Ramsey at the Rice and Coles chandlery (what a helpful chap) and should pick them up next week. Then just a bit of riggery pokery and we should be ready to go.

I hope to be, if I can find anyone to play with....

my crew are waning - all my regulars either on horrendous night shifts, up the duff, studying, preparing house for imminent baby arrival, moving, on holiday or just too disorganised to say yes to anything more than 30 minutes in advance.

will be out on the river on saturday.
My usual trip round osea island island and back to millbeach, before tide goes out.
Say hello of you see my tub "Fantasy".

There were loads of Bradwell Cruising Club boats in Brightlingsea on Saturday and quite a few Marconi boats too.

Got my deck painted and even though I say it myself think it looks quite good apart from where the masking tape stuck
