Any deck polishing tips?

Hi,

I have some temporary work in a marina at the mo' and there's lots of deck cleaning and polishing going on. Any tips on making the job easier please? Cant use the7" polisher really so mostly being done by hand with compound and lots rags. Ouch, its hard on the fingers!!

Are you sure you mean deck polishing ?
Mine are non slip.
Sounds dangerous to me.

Any deck compounding tips?

quite right -- cleaning and compounding is what I mean, (no wax here!), ie the bits around the textured deck,

I don't see why wax would necessarily be a problem - it helps to disperse water, which is what really makes decks slippery - and surfers wax their surfboards for the same reason...
