Far be it from me to wag a finger at crews drinking, at least once they're moored or anchored securely...
...or even en route, assuming the skipper will stay reasonably alert and orientated, and is in a position to insist his crew take due care...
...but how best can visitors be made to keep in mind the immediate peril surrounding dark marina pontoons and transfers by tender?
The ease of mind which follows the third or fourth glass, seems to shift all natural caution even in responsible folk.
Nice if there were no horrendous marina/harbour headlines this year.
