Any bright ideas for boaty delivery from Cornwall to Perthshire?

I'm about to leave Cornwall for our summer mooring in Plockton: so deck cargo Falmouth - Kyle is on offer. Not sure it helps much for Perth 'tho! (But the drive is soooo much nicer:-)

How is the vendor going to adequately protectit for transit? If it is in its own bag that still need protecting.

People wrap flightcases so that if the outer wrapping is damaged the flightcase is covered by insurance. Without wrapping it is regarded as the protective cover and not covered for insurance.

I use Parcels to Go and get some quite large cardboard boxes from round the back of retail sheds like Currys or Hombase (With permission).

That's very kind, thank you - but I think I am now sorted. I can't work out if you're driving or sailing but whichever way, have a good trip!

M/T 18 tonner north bound

Try asking on "another place". It's denizens not only found me a dinghy but transported it from darkest UKIP land to JWD - all for free.
From 'another place' - if the Op could have got the parcel to Melton Mowbray in the next hour, then I could have brought it to Edinburgh / Glasgow! Glad to read that the Op is sorted.
