Right, chaps and chapesses! I would like some assistance here. I need to buy two 20litre or 3 x 10litre drums of eroding antifoul, or 12 x 2.5 cans, but cheap cheap!! I normally use antifoul that has fallen off the back of admiralty lorries and the like, but have no contacts in the "Armada" here in Spain, any ideas? I dont need it now and dont need it neccessarily in Spain, UK will be fine and next year will do. Anybody help? Plus mums the word, I'll not rat on anybody, nudge nudge! Thanks.

I know you are not really after retail prices, but TEAMAC erodible has worked very well for me, and I think you get a really good discount for a 5 gallon drum. (its considerably cheaper than Micron).

Hello CC,

Just in case you´re interested in a "legitimate" purchase I can give you a great discount on Seajet Coastal - self-eroding, plus it comes in 25L tins, soyou save even more! Only problem is I´m here in Mallorca.....so you´d have to wait for a fair wind...... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I saw a guy walking around a marina hard stand collecting all the antifoul dregs from the partially empty containers, thinned out left overs from the professionals and bits and pieces from the rubbish bins, he was mixing it all together into a few containers and claimed he was going to box the lot togerther before applying two coats.

Anitfoul for this bloke is free, just a bit of time collecting bits and pieces from here and there. Many people throw away the last litre or so at the end of the job, and considering the particular hard stand had over 100 boats a week for antifoul in the summer it did not take him long to aquire enough to do the job.
