Antifouling Trim Tabs....

Been asked before I know, but here goes again, do any of you antifoul your S/Steel Trim Tabs. Fedup with trying to get all the barncles off last weekend, and wondered is it okay to antifoul - I know not to cover the anodes.

Hi, mine are SS and I've always painted them, never needed to use anodes. All the furr comes off real easy - been doing it for 5 years now with no ill effects.

Boats is Thames non tidal based.

we have always anti fouled our trim tabs with the teflon spray used on outdrives until last year when the boat yard coated it all with the same stuff as the hull ( seems good stuff as well )

Ours are antifouled but stuff still grows on them. Comes off easily though.
