Hi there,

I would appreciate any recommendations for antifouling ? Boat currently based Crouch/Fambridge YH, and growing weed.

Current AF is unknown brand applied in Ireland !? Have to lift soon to see state of anodes and other below waterline fittings :-(

Blakes tiger extra is rubbish for the second year
Uno seems to work better
 
Am currently on Flag Performance Extra and have been pleased with it this year in Bridgemarsh.

No weed at all until end of September from an April start.

2 coats, put on in under 1/2 a day, so no special prep.
 
I have 3/4 of a 2.5L tin of Flag Cruising in dark blue if anyone wants a £10 bargain.

I used in on top of the remains of Tiger Extra. When I had a summer srub there was none of it left. Non-biocide over biocide perhaps needed a primer. Anyway it's back to Tiger next season. Tiger has been alright in the Blackwater.
