Does any one know if using antifoul on the rubber bits (bellows, hydraulic pipes, etc) on a stern drive damages the rubber or hastens the items perishing?

Does anyone have any good tips on the best way of keep the bendy bits bendy?

Just had to replace 4 hydraulic steering hoses @ £400 +vat (will keep the old ones and have them reburbished)

Thanks
rob

Just be careful that the solvent / chemicals in the anti-foul do not attck the rubber.

Interestingly, the Tea-mac antifoul I used this year specifically could not be painted onto the depth transducer without causing damage.
