Almost apropos nothing, if anyone is interested in yachting in Antibes I just noticed that Nick Burnham has put a very nice review of Antibes on youtube, here

He has managed to get 5 forum boats in shot at 2.44, with Deleted User's Freti63 taking centre stage.

Nice movie Nick :D

I dont remember getting a royalty payment allowing Nick to include my boat in his video;)

Shame he didnt include some cruising footage. Note to Nick and MBY. Next time you are doing a vid about a popular cruising area, put a post on the forum and I'm sure you'll find somebody more than happy to take you out for a trip on their boat. Might even give you a beer;)

Mike I’ve been tasked by ybw to make a feature length film of Antibes. It will take approximately 3 months to make, starting this June, only problem is I don’t drink shandy:D. Only Bollinger:encouragement:

Oh thats a shame. We dont like Bollinger. Try jfm;)

Great video to watch on a dark wet evening. I would love to see the video at normal speed though to see the boats some more. I know why it's edited but I would still like to watch it at normal speed. Keep them coming Nick, It's a good idea. :encouragement::cool:

Thank you! :)

This was one of my somewhat failed attempts at a travel video. Funnily enough I noticed last night that the views had suddenly spiked but didn't know where it had come from till I spotted this today - I think this post has just about doubled the view count to almost 400! :D (Fortunately my Superyacht Tour videos on my channel do rather better).

It wasn't a particularly serious attempt, I had a few days off and grabbed a cheap flight to Nice and an AirBnB and went for a look around. Thought I'd take the GoPro and get a bit of footage for my channel and see how it went (not well!)

There's a Monaco one too, from the following day:

I was quite pleased with them however, despite its lack of success on YouTube.

That's a nice offer, thank you. It wasn't a serious attempt, I just went for a look around as never been there before and took a GoPro along. Which boat is yours?

I dont want to big you up too much:D but your Sunseeker 131 video was one of the best I've seen of its type. Too many boat videos focus only on the glossy accommodation and forget about the mechanical and crew aspects. Keep 'em coming please

Jimmy Buffet T-shirt too :encouragement: :encouragement:

Darn tooting, LOVE a bit of Jimmy Buffett! In fact the way that this all came about was I'd booked to go to a Jimmy Buffett concert on Saturday night in Paris with a friend. Then I got invited to join some other friends on a boat trip up the Exeter Ship Canal, but they were leaving on the Sunday afternoon. I figured I could fly from Exeter on Saturday, back Sunday and still make the Ship Canal trip that afternoon.

We were due to be back in Torquay on Tuesday evening so with that all arranged I decided to make a week of it and booked the flights to the South of France for Wednesday and a cheap AirBnB in Cannes.

Hence the T shirt, which I'd bought at the concert a couple of days earlier!

There are a couple of videos of the Exeter Ship Canal trip on my channel, that was a great trip.

And here's the Jimmy Buffett Paris trip, he was brilliant! (Seeing him again this year). I shot this entirely on an iPhone just grabbing quick snippets as we went around (It was quite a week for AQUAHOLIC videos). :D

It's very kind of you to say so. I must admit I was rather pleased with that one - it's even almost in one continuous take (there are two joins in the engine room area). It's looking like it could yet be the most successful video on my channel, which is also gratifying.

Definitely planning to get a few more of these (and there is already a Princess 30M, Sunseeker 95 Yacht and a few others that include engine rooms and crew quarters uploaded to AQUAHOLIC and which are doing very well for views).

It's just a matter of finding dealers (and/or owners) who are happy for me to do them, although that said, the guys at Sunseeker are very pleased with how that one is being received, so hopefully there will be more, and hopefully other superyacht brokers might spot it and be interested in something similar.

'Please like and subscribe', as they always say in YouTube land! :)
