According to <A target="_blank" HREF=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4065751.stm>this BBC web page</A> the screensaver sight is now on hold. They had a a lot of complaints based upon denial of service. Some think that this will bring some form of retaliation.

They reportedly were also hacked earlier this week, and the site was down completely for many hours when I looked into it. Not the brightest idea, and possibly bordering on the illegal as well.

This is probably in a similar theme to the "<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.aa419.org/ladvampire.html>artists against 419</A>" which uses up the hosts bandwidth to attempt to bring down fraudulent bank sites.
No ISPs make enough effort to get rid of these sites so maybe it is time people struck back.
By making them use excessive bandwidth will either costs them or close them down.
I ran this in my department over a weekend and it eat up about 11Gb of data per machine!
