Re: alcudia (fred drifting)

Stewart I don't question your logic of Alcudia one bit but you're not 3.5-4 hours from the Solent! Soton is 90miles, Lymington 110ish!

I know Alcudia well. How is security at these places, I mean the public can easily walk onto the pontoon, so does stuff get nicked from boats?

Re: alcudia (fred drifting)

I've only been there a few months but no problems so far. Talking to one of the brokers based there, he is not aware of any reported incidents of theft from boats (yet!).

As to distances and journey times - well there isn't really a lot of correlation between the two when it takes in the M25 on a Friday evening and Monday morning. I can leave Alcudia 5am on a Monday and be in work for 9. I was there yesterday enjoying the sun whilst most of the UK apparently seemed to be considering moving boats inland to use as arks!

Re: not wrong

Thanks for that, as I suspected I was wrong so time to keep quiet! The only way to get one of the girls into the water was to deny sharks had ever even heard of the Med though!

Where's the Leopard going by the way?
