Moved to Woolverstone mid season and enjoyed zero sailing over the winter, having thought it a great idea to leave her in and get a few winter sails in. Huh, won't do that again!! Anyway boats now out and thinking of anti fouling, when it warms up a bit.
What's best these parts?

I have a swinging mooring on the Orwell and have been using Hempel's "Cruising Performer"...... It needs a wipe round the waterline 1/2 way through the season and it is not perfect but nothing is. It is as good as anything else and better than some so I will use it again. A useful tip I was given is...... Before going for one of the cheapies feel the weight of the can against a similar size of a top brand. The heavier it is, the higher the percentage of solids.

Shogun 33 was voted the best in the area by PBO a few years back, I have just applied it for the third year running and would recommend it. I am in SYH sailing locally once a week during the season.
