Anti-Foul Scraping Party

Please please please don't do what I have seen many people do there - no protective equipment at all and dry scraping it off! It's not nice stuff to have in your lungs or eyes.

p.s. If anyone feels to need to remove a few fossilised worms from the outdrives of a Sealine as you wander in from the car park, feel free /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll second that. Many years ago, I decided to scrape the antifoul of my boat and ended up in hospital with a nurse trying to dab bits of antifoul paint out of my eyes. It was many days before my eyes stopped stinging
Never again. I'd rather pay somebody else to do it now

Been there many times. Its boating at its lowest ebb. Amazing sense of achievement once its done and ensures a great finish once the new stuff is rolled on. Happy scraping /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
so are you taking it all back to the gelcoat? Interested to know 'cos i've always just given it a quick rub off and slapped it on. Mind you she's looking like a pizza these days so maybe i should get my scraper out after all. P360 in front of brokerage, might see you down there!
