Hi,
I’m looking for a way of fitting an antenna to a custom mast head fitting I don’t really want to modify. The antenna has a 1” 14 NF female thread, the mast head fitting is drilled for a standard VHF antenna, Hawk or similar, with what appears to be a 5/8” hole with a slot cut for the cable.
So I’m looking for a 1” 14 NF male thread on one side and a 5/8” (about 15mm or 16mm) stud on the other side (preferably complete with a nut and washer) and a hole drill through to take a small cable (5mm to 6mm).
I’ve Googled what I think are appropriate search terms, but haven’t found a suitable adapter.
Does anyone know if such an adapter exists?

Never seen an adapter, but any half decent fabricator could make you one in less than half an hour, just get a stainless 1" NF male nipple and weld a stainless 5/8" bolt/screw to one end, stainless spring washer and nut or nyloc nut and flat washer. Can drill through the 5/8" bolt 7mm down the centre, either in the lathe or drill press (carefully).

I know of no adapter for what you are trying to do, I doubt there is one.
The male threaded section to fit your antenna is 1" - 14 tpi UNS. Standard 1" UNF is 12 tpi and won't fit, so be careful if you want to get something made.
My advice would be to get a mount for a 1 - 14 tpi base antenna or get a whip antenna which will fit your current mount.
