Antares door stuck Help!

Just bought a 2012 antares 780 and when we got it home we could not get the sliding door open. Door was locked for trail home but now firmly stuck. Any ideas ?key turns in luck ok.

Not overly helpful I'm afraid, but the first thing I'd try to ascertain is whether the lock's busted or the door's jammed on it's runners somehow. Also, is the boat in the water or chocked up ashore? - If ashore, it may be chocked unevenly which has caused a small amount of "twist" in the hull, which, in turn, could jam a sliding door.

Had something similar where a screw vibrated loose in heavy weather.

I had similar problem recently on Antares 30, adjustment screw for the clamping lock must have vibrated down which mean it wasn't releasing properly. I was locked out, lucky boat was in marina.

I had to go through lazarette engine bay hatch then up through engine bay hatch in Saloon. Took lock apart and adjusted screw to sort.

Thanks for suggestions ,finally got it open. The striker plate had moved and was loose,lifting door and turning key did the job.
