Hello,

Just been to look at an MF855. Smaller inside the cockpit area than I had hoped. A great looking boat non the less.

Am thinking of also going to view an 8.80 - from the images and video we have seen, the seating in the cabin looks bigger and more comfortable for those dark nights aboard.

Has anyone viewed both boats and would you comment?

Thanks
SS

We looked at both before settling on the MF855.
The two main features which swayed us were the side access door which has proven very useful and the enclosed cabins which makes for a more private feel for anybody staying onboard overnight.

Thank you. Good points.

I kind of like the idea of the open plan feel down in the cabins. But the side door access was was a bonus on the MF.

We're hoping to go and see an 8.80 at the end of next week.

I haven't found either which Coke with a central heating system - so I think we will have to pop something like that in. Will do some research.

Thanks

The latest MF855 do have a air con/heating system which is electric, only works when connected to shore power and is very expensive. I fitted a ~£100 2kW plinth heater under the bottom step in mine and that always keeps us cosy even in the depths of winter. The only downside is not being able to heat the boat when away from the marina.

Arh yes I think I spotted your post on that.

As I spend almost all of my nights away front the Marina, we will need to find something else.

I couldn't find a thread relating to any MF855 or A8.80 owners who have fitted a heating system - do you know of any?

Thank you
