Just ordered one of these in 350mm. I’ve taken mine out a few times but always with an empty tank, tank half full this time and it didn’t want to play

With the sender outside the tank and wires connected when you slide the float up and down does the gauge register?Just ordered one of these in 350mm. I’ve taken mine out a few times but always with an empty tank, tank half full this time and it didn’t want to play

I actually broke it in two trying to get it out, the plastic had got quite brittle. The original is a similar type to the one below.

Your new one does look a lot more robust. Mine is the same type as your broken one so I had better be prepared!
