Good morning everyone, I own a 2002 Antares 710 and I'm replacing the shaft seal, but I have a worn Teflon bushing and I don't know what size to replace it with. I'm not sure if it's necessary because I don't see one on any boats, and since I haven't removed the shaft myself, I'd like some advice. Thanks for the replies.

I suspect it is there to prevent the shaft from knocking on the stern tube. A useful modification. Any machine shop will copy it for you. Not sure of the material, Teflon can cause shaft wear due to powdered glass filler.

Thanks for the answer, I had the doubt that it is a bushing to centre the axis and that it was forgotten after assembly
