Hi, does an Antares 10.80 have only one float switch for auto bilge , the boat is new to me, I have found one (that doesn’t appear to be working) and was wondering if there were two? Help would be greatly appreciated

Most/many/ all craft this size two bilge pumps ? One in engine bilge and second lurking somewhere forward.
Both should be wired directly to batteries and have a manual overide switch somewhere near the main helm with method of warning, either audible or light.

Recently discovered my forward bilge pump was not working in the Auto postion, but OK manually.
Eventually gave up trying to track fault in snakes nest of existing wiring and ran new wire of suitable gauge from pump to battery.
An absolute nightmare, involving at least twice the length thought it needed.

I have an Antares 10.8 - it only has one electric bilge pump, and that is manually switched, it doesn't have a float switch. The pump is in the small compartment off the heads where the the other pumps are fitted. The suction is in the aft compartment between the diesel tanks with a coarse mesh filter and a non-return valve, which I replaced recently as the NRV was seized.

I have the original owners manual, it highlights every switch light pump etc but no float switch,
