Hi, does an Antares 10.80 have only one float switch for auto bilge , the boat is new to me, I have found one (that doesn’t appear to be working) and was wondering if there were two? Help would be greatly appreciated
I have an Antares 10.8 - it only has one electric bilge pump, and that is manually switched, it doesn't have a float switch. The pump is in the small compartment off the heads where the the other pumps are fitted. The suction is in the aft compartment between the diesel tanks with a coarse mesh filter and a non-return valve, which I replaced recently as the NRV was seized.Hi, does an Antares 10.80 have only one float switch for auto bilge , the boat is new to me, I have found one (that doesn’t appear to be working) and was wondering if there were two? I have the original owners manual, it highlights every switch light pump etc but no float switch,I have an Antares 10.8 - it only has one electric bilge pump, and that is manually switched, it doesn't have a float switch. Not in this case the pump is sat quite high up with hoses going to at least two separate pointsSome pumps do not have a separate float switch, it is built in to the pump body.
