You're both wrong. I suspect it's a Rival on the way back from Rockall

It does appear to be a Rival, and yes west of St Kilda.
Rockall. Well there's "rockall" to see there except a tiny rock a long way from anywhere. (55 hours from Barra). We stopped at St Kilda for a walk ashore on the way back. It's a strange sight St Kilda from the west. I went to sleep, while those that hadn't been there before went ashore for a look in the wee hours, then on again from there.

Utterly magical place, despite the missile stuff. Is the pub open to visitors these days?

No, the pub has been closed to the public for many years. Someone came out after a few too many, walked over the stone edge and fell a few metres broke a leg and required a medevac chopper. End of public access. Not before we got our boat name on the ceiling though.
Now all the buildings are being replaced, started last summer. A very closely managed change to not upset the environment. Will be better than the old boxy buildings.
