This is so cunning that I don't believe you understand how cunning it is. The cunning part of this plan is that I want it stolen - its insured. Your plan only counted as cunning until I announced my plan.

Shouldn't the camara be pointing more to the stern, looks like you could sneak past on the port side to gain access. Unless (cunningly!!) you can pan remotely.

Only pointing it this way 'cos I don't want it pointing at the sun (wot sun I hear you cry). This camera doesn't have an adjustable Iris so would just "white out" in direct sunlight. Am going to replace it with something more sophisticated shortly - this was just a bit of fun and a "proof of concept".

I can pan remotely, just for you I've turned it to the left a bit.

Yes, but it's still raining there.

I am a bit disappointed. When I mentioned the flappy bit in the corner I thought you had jumped into your car and driven x number of miles to nudge the camera a litte to the left.

Now I find you did it remotely. Huh!

Bet you can't wipe the rain off the lens remotely.

Don't give him ideas ! he's spent the last 25 yrs saying every time the wind blows "must go and check the boat" - now I can keep him penned in - ready for work, DIY - hey or even the gardening ! - whereas the 150 mile round trip would take him all day ! So no more about he can't wipe away the rain from the sprayhood or he'll be off to do that ! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Seriously, it does give us peace of mind - I don't know how many times we've ummed and aahed about whether we should go and check her. When we get an indoor camera fixed up it will be even better - tho we'll have to ensure it's not available to you lot of you might get a nasty shock seeing pessimist in the all-together heading for the heads or summat !
