Whereas raggies are never an annoyance. Their halyards banging on those lovely alloy (hollow) mast never keep me awake. They sail with courtesy towards all users at all times, particularly when racing. Their boats are a dream to handle in locks and so they never bang into us. The fact that all my lifelines are loose is an act of nature and nothing to do with them being the first point of contact for the raggie crew fending off.
Talking of pigs - one has just flown by.
No doubt the dinghy sailers we rescued off Walton found us terribly annoying.
