Getting bored with the river, wanna go fast.

Nearest coast marina I can think of is Whitby. Had a gander t'other day and noticed all the boats on the pontoons were rafted up to three deep.

What happens if you go to the boat and you are rafted on the inside with two boats outside you?

Do you cast the buggers adrift and go on your merry way or sit miserably in the harbour all weekend?

Damn silly way of doing things if you ask me.

there is a process ! sort or moving all lines from 1 end round the other end then the one on the inside sort of pops out :D

I see and if the inside one doesn't pop out? And what about some oily fisherman ripping open me covers and leaving fishy boot prints all over me carpets?

Still seems damned silly. Bet there's a lot of fights.

This used to happen to us alot, wilst cruising round Ireland. Untie all the stern lines and back out, then useing your boat like a tug, push them back together again. Then clamber back over them and tie them up.

When you've done it. You feel like you could have won the battle of Trafalga all on your own.

True, but I believe there's a long waiting list.

Humber Cruising Association

TK - It'll have to be jerrycans. No petrol on sale here.

Why not try Hull? Still 20 miles up the Humber from the sea, but no speed limits to worry about!

According to my puter, the site under the link has malware embedded. The man from compaq, he say no. :)
