Ellen MacArthur and crew set a new Brittany Ferries Trophy record for the cross channel record to ST Malo. 100 miles in 6h20m33s.

Who though gets the record?

Loick Gallon was the boat captain, Roland Jourdain (who has won 2 transats was there) and Ellen.

Or is it attributed just to the boat?

I think I am going to set the new world record for how long it takes to cycle from my local pub to my home when I have had a boot full!

That's on in say a 50ft racer. Or perhaps a little MOCRA multihull. Something like a Dragonfly or a Strider.
