Is it worth emailing him to see if he insists on Western Union? Sound like the same b'stard to me.

I'm going to suddenly "discover" that Western Union is not recommended by Ebay and put your escrow suggestion to him a little later on.

I've emailed him. He's not declared what P&P is so I've asked him. My ebay handle is boaty so he will know I'm seriously interested. We need others to stay away so he doesn't get suspicious. I'll post - might start a new thread so it doesn't conflict with your scammer - when I hear from him.

Seriously, the wording you had in your original mail from Ptmaleste looks identical to what I received when I enquired about an RL70CRC about a month ago. It was a totally different username though, but certainly all the same excuses about using Western Union, etc.
