For the petrolheads who liked the video in this previous thread, below is another one worth 10' of your time.
Not as crazy as the previous one, because this time the boat is a proper rocket ship (Fountain 42' Poker Run edition), rather than a ridiculously overpowered small boat, but still impressive.
I really wonder what might have thought the guy helming the pontoon boat at 6:56, when he saw a missile at 100 mph or so right in front of him...

The guys like to play fast.....'go hard, or go home'

The river seemed to get a little narrow in places to accomodate multiple super-fast boats in both directions, especially riding up on wash from the boat in front. It must get twitchy at over 100 mph.

Did you notice the helmsman at about 6.35 - 6.55 constantly checking the guy on his stb. quarter who was giving him a run for his money.

Precisely my thought AM, I was also surprised by how near to the coast they were running at times...

The boat you're talking about is actually the same hull (just in the normal "Lightning" version, rather than the "Poker Run" with no cabin - hence lighter). Go figure, the other boat has 900hp per side, while the video boat has "only" 600.
Shows that it takes balls, on top of big engines, I guess...

Oh, and in reply to mil1194: I don't know what camera they were using for this specific video, but generally speaking in the US forum where these guys usually post they swear by GoPro Hero.
