Another Newbie

Hi Folks
Have to say what a great forum this is, I have been peeping away here now for a while and sometimes i find it hard to drag myself away. My question is this, I have an Antares 620 O/B and would like to upgrade to a 760 provided my bank manager will give me the balance to upgrade. What would be the best site to advertise my boat on . I live on the westcoast of Ireland and have tried the old reliable over here (donedeal) with no success. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered Part Exchanging? It is often not as bad a peops think it will be and can be a lot less hassle and much quicker. Don't know the Irish Market, but dealers here in the UK are doing PXes all the time.

We use apolloduck a lot, boats and outboards, yacht market and bot hop to name just a few, th more exposure you get the better.

Welcome! We had a good number of responses from Appollo Duck, I'd recommend you pay the extra tenner or so for the bigger advert than the freebie one. Good luck!

Appollo duck, boatsandoutboards.co.uk, and one called findafishingboat or something like that. Google will find.

Also try www.Essexboatyards.com. They do trade ins all the time. The could trade in for an Arvor as they are main Arvor dealers, and possibly another Bene they are jeanneau sailboat dealers so they might be able to get a Bene as well (Jeanneau and Bene are same enterprise). Whether this is practical depends on whether you're current boat is on a trailer or not

OAF/Philiz have already recommended apolloduck so im going to take a few more photos over the weekend and give that a try. I not too sure about the Arvor there are a few of them in our marina but i think it has something to do with looks or rather lack of them (sorry) Boat has a trailer and we do trailer it around a bit so transport isnt a problem. Boat is 2006 and i would be hoping to move up to a 07/08 760 at a stretch.
